Ingredients
- 1 box biscuit mix (recommended: Jiffy)
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped rosemary, 4 small stems
- 1/2 cup cream
- A couple pinches salt
- 3 pieces deli-sliced glazed smoked ham, chopped, about 1/8 pound
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 teaspoons sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix together biscuit mix, rosemary, cream, salt, ham and orange zest. Pile mixture into 4 large mounds or 8 small mounds onto a nonstick cookie sheet. Sprinkle with a little sugar and bake. Bake scones for 10 to 12 minutes for large scones, 7 to 8 minutes for small scones.
In cooperation with the United States Marine Corps, the Lynnfield Fire Dept. is sponsoring Toys for Tots. New, unopened toys may be dropped off at the fire station Monday – Friday from 8am until 4pm. Donations will be accepted through December 15.
The Lynnfield Art Guild will hold its annual December Arts & Crafts Show and Sale Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9:00am until 3:00pm at the Meeting House on the common.

Lynnfield Historical Society’s 47th annual Holiday Country Store will be open for business Saturday December 6, 9:00am-2:00pm in the 1714 Meeting House
Starting around 3:30pm cookies and hot chocolate will be served on the Common. Santa will arrive and children may sit on Santa’s lap, get a candy cane and parents may take pictures.
